Uniform Agreement (Payroll Deduction)
This topic covers the formal agreement associated with your Cassano’s uniform items. It is short — but it is important to understand what you are agreeing to.
What You Receive
When you start at Cassano’s, you will receive one or more of the following uniform items:
- Cassano’s logo shirt(s)
- Cassano’s logo hat or visor
These items are provided to make sure you can meet the uniform standard from day one.
Your Responsibilities
- Uniform items must be kept clean, in good repair, and presentable at all times
- Damaged or worn-out items should be reported to your manager so they can be replaced
- Uniform items are for use during your employment at Cassano’s — they are not personal clothing
When You Leave
Uniform items are property of Cassano’s. When your employment ends:
- Return all issued uniform items in reasonable condition on your last day
- Items that are not returned or are returned in unusable condition may be subject to a payroll deduction at their replacement cost
- This deduction, if applicable, will be reflected in your final paycheck in accordance with Ohio wage law
Acknowledgement
By completing this topic and continuing through your onboarding, you acknowledge that:
- You have received and reviewed the Uniform Guidelines in L11
- You understand that issued items must be returned upon separation
- You understand that unreturned or damaged items may result in a payroll deduction
Questions?
If you have questions about what you were issued, what a deduction amount would be, or the return process, ask your manager before your start date or during your first week.
